Born and raised in New Orleans, I am a Self-Taught Visual Artist with a Natural God-Given Gift, and I love “Playing in my Paints”.

I create Mixed Media Abstract Expressionist style paintings for personal expression to provoke thought, arouse and convey direct spiritual, emotional and intellectual messages.

Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind, most of them are designed to hang like wind chimes and dance in the light revealing something new with each spin of the canvas. The rare beauty is in a category all its own – abstract, sometimes cartoonish, spiritual and uncomfortably impactful but rewardingly beautiful.

Most of my paintings and drawings feature hidden stylized mask-like faces and ethereal figures utilizing organic biomorphic forms and thin lines that share similarities with modern expressionism or raw art, focusing on emotion over realism and conveying a deep sense of spirituality, majesty, dignity, strength, grace and beauty.

During the creation process, every stroke reveals something new and leads me to another stroke that leads to something new to see and I am always surprised by the outcome. I use form, color and texture to create tangible visual experiences that are not only playfully quaint, fanciful and whimsical but also suggest a surrealist, dreamlike approach to abstract art.

Having only recently discovered the full potential of my gift and talent, I am choosing to build an Artistic Legacy of Divine Love and Peace.
